David A. Bruyere

BRUYERE, DAVID A., 63, of Leisure Dr., Wakefield, died Saturday at home. He was the husband of Irene (Ponanski) DiColella- Bruyere.

Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Omer and Bertha (Bentley) Bruyere. He lived in Wakefield for eighteen years.

Mr. Bruyere worked as a Carpenter for Carpenters Union Local 475, MA for twenty-six years, retiring in 2004. He had served in the US Navy. He was a member of Cercle Laurier, Woonsocket, an active member of the Village at Waterman Pond and a communicant of St. Francis of Asissi Church in Wakefield.

Along with his wife, Irene, he leaves four step-sons, Michael DiColella of Putnam, CT, Vincent DiColella of Woonsocket and Robert and John DiColella, both of Mendon, MA and a brother, Paul Bruyere of Blackstone and several nieces and nephews.

His funeral, with visitation beginning at 8:30AM, will be held Friday, December 7, 2007 in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in St Theresa's Church, Rathbun St., Blackstone, MA. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, No. Smithfield.
