Richard Mattera Obituary

MATTERA, RICHARD C., SR., 59, of Ritchotte Ct., passed away Monday at home. He was the husband of Maureen C. (Devine) Mattera.

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Carlo N. and Rosamond (Major) Mattera.

Richard worked as a foreman for Local 271 Laborers Union retiring due to illness in 1995. He owned several classic automobiles and had a passion for racing and fishing.

Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, Richard Mattera Jr. and Michael T. Mattera and his grandson, Anthony Mattera.

A memorial service will be held Friday at 7:00 pm in the Robert A. Iannotti Funeral Home, 415 Washington St., Coventry. Visiting hours 5:00 - 7:00 pm.
