Born Jan. 6, 1930, in Detroit, she was the daughter of the late Willis Moody and Beulah Cedilla (Good) Lutz. On March 28, 1981, in Suttons Bay, she married Richard John "Dick" Hill. They remained joyfully devoted to each other for 27 wonderful years.
After many years in the tourist business in Traverse City, Jane and her husband, Dick, retired to Arizona. They recently returned to this area to be close to family and friends.
In addition to her loving husband, Dick, she will be greatly missed by her only daughter, Kelly Jane (David) Ritchey of Erie, Colo.; beloved grandchildren, Christina (10), Leah Kathryn (5), and Seth Willis (3); brother, Willis "Bill" (Virginia) Lutz of Traverse City; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 25, 2008, at Central United Methodist Church with Rev. Dale Ostema officiating.
In remembrance of Jane, memorials may be directed to Munson Hospice House. Envelopes may be obtained at the church.
