I am really going to miss my Grandma. I was her only granddaughter. When we were little, we couldn't say "Lorraine", so my brother and I called her Grandma Rain. When we were growing up, my family lived in Indiana. Grandma would come to visit us and we never wanted her to leave because we knew it would be a long time before we would see her again. So when she started loading up her luggage, we brought out jump ropes and tried to tie her to the kithchen chairs. We tried hard to make the knots tight, but she was always able to get loose. She would play our game until we had to leave for school and then she would leave for Michigan. I love you, Grandma Rain!

My deepest sympathy to Lorraine's family.
Although Lorraine had been on my route for a short time, I enjoyed speaking with her every Tuesday when I stopped with her meal from Meals on Wheels.
She very much appreciated these meals and I know I speak for all the other volunteers on Route 42 and those at the Meals on Wheels office in saying Lorraine will be truly missed.

I really am going to miss my Grandma Lorraine. For a little over a year I have driven Grandma every Thursday to her hair appointment, doctors appointments,to the bank and any other errands that she would have. Even before I had a car of my own I would walk to her house and drive Grandma in her own car. I loved that time when I got her all to myself.
