Lucinda M. Correia-Pina, age 30, entered into heavens gates on Saturday, April 15, 2006. Her father Jess Correia of Stockton greeted her in heaven. Born and raised in Stockton
Lucinda was a loving mother, cherished daughter and loyal friend. Lucinda gleamed with confidence and internal strength. She was strong hearted, kind, sharp and sincere; she gracefully welcomed people into her home and made them feel like family. She loved to laugh and her spontaneous wit brought laughter from others. Lucinda was assertive and knew where she stood at all times. She was resilient, efficient and intelligent. She was equally warm, carefree and dedicated to those she loved. Lucinda's children were her essence. She was a natural nurturer and welcomed all children into her life as her own. Lucinda recently achieved her goal of operating a licensed daycare facility and ran it effectively and devotedly. She voluntarily dedicated her time as yard duty staff, PTO and assistant coach to the winning basketball team of her children's school. Lucinda will be favorably remembered by her relentless devotion and adoration of her children, family and friends. Lucinda's memory will be carried on by her mother, Pamela Smith of Stockton; husband, Anul Pina, Sr.; children, Gloria, Anul, Javen and Malaina; surrogate parents, Ron and Lavinia Pedercini of Nevada; sisters, Angelique Torres and husband, Felipe Torres of Stockton, Nina Wolfe, Tina Wolfe and Crystal Wolfe of Virginia; grandparents, Helen Duncan of Stockton and James and Jean Smith of Sacramento; life long friend, Michelle Phillips and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
