Kathleen Malone Obituary

Kathleen Geraldine Dunn Malone, 80, of Moneta, died on Monday, August 11, 2008. She was born Monday, October 3, 1927, in Brooklyn, N.Y., and was the daughter of the late Wilfred John Dunn and Katherine Josephine Flood Dunn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband and best friend of 31 years, William "Bill" Malone. She is survived by her six children, Anthony Matteo and wife, Geneva, Kathie Holmes and husband, Bob, Karen King, Chuck Sklilton, Greg Skilton and wife, Kim, and Bruce Skilton and wife, Lavonia; 13 grandchildren; six greatgrandchildren; and numerous relatives, nieces and nephews. A celebration of Kathleen's life will be conducted 10 a.m. Friday, August 15, 2008, at Tharp Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Mr. Raymond Roderique officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 14, 2008, at Tharp Funeral Home.
