I was so sorry to hear of Calvin's death. He and my dad were second cousins. I knew him and his daughter from working with the youth group at St. John back in the late 1960's. He was always such a happy and generous person, and he will be missed. May you be comforted by the promise of the Resurrection.

In the mid 70's when I first visited St. John one of the first people we met was Calvin. I have been gone from the area over ten years and have never forgotten his wonderful smile and how in spite of tragic events in his life Calvin lived it to the fullest. May God Bless and Keep each and everyone of his Family in the days ahead.

When we first walked through the doors of St John Lutheran to see if it was a church we wanted to join, Calvin was one of the first to greet us with open arms and we knew St John was where we were supposed to be.
Calvin's wonderful smile and warm heart will always be present at St John and in our hearts. Our prayers and sincere condolences go out to Jackie and family.

I am very sorry for your loss. I know this has been such a hard year on your family. I am Trish's friend, I was in Busters and Trish's wedding. Just wanted to let you know you are being prayed for.
