Robert Reynolds Obituary

Robert Kenneth (Bob) Reynolds, 76, of Blacksburg, died Tuesday, August 12, 2008, at North Carolina Baptist Hospital. He was born in Washington, D.C., on October 5, 1931, to the late Reuben and Iva Barnes Reynolds. He retired from Virginia Tech in 1986 as extension specialist in Farm Management at VPI & SU. He is survived by his wife, Pat Reynolds, of Blacksburg; two daughters, Deidra Reynolds, of Dulles, Va., and Bronwyn Reynolds, of Christiansburg, Va.; a sister and brother-in-law, Frances R. and John A. Nirich, of Amissville, Va.; and a brother, W. Ray Reynolds, of Culpepper, Va. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, August 17, 2008, in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Reggie Tuck officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery, Blacksburg. Friends may call anytime after noon on Saturday, August 16, 2008, and the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. on Saturday evening at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr., Blacksburg, Va.
