To the Smith & English Family,
I was so very shocked to hear about my friend Gaynelle going home to be with the Lord and I am still saddened but I know that God never makes a mistake and he always knows what he is doing. Please know that our prayers and thoughts are with you all in this very difficult time of sorrow, we will miss her so very much, her smile, her candidness and her making you feel like you were somebody.
Eventhough she is gone from us physically, we still have our wonderful memories that we can reach back and hold on to.
Remember that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord and she is in his hands now, he takes care of his own and we know that he will take care of you. The lord took a piece of gold from us to put in his treasure box in heaven.
May you find comfort in knowing that God is with you and will never leave you nor forsake you, this is a promise from him to you.
Prayerfully & Lovingly,

"Who Can Find A Virtuous Woman?" "I certainly did." "How about you?" Gaynell for me was nessled right in the middle of a big sister / stand in mom. She carried on with me like a sibling, but looked out for me and watched over me as a mother would her very own. Gaynell had "Agape Love," she had a way of loving each individual person in a way that made you feel like you were special as well as significant to her if no one else. I am so certain that I am one of many that can say that. A legend in her own rite with her down to earth, blunt, direct character, she never left a need for a question mark as to what she was trying to convey. She taught us all how siblings are to look out for their other siblings, care for their parents, even love those in and out the church where ever there was a need even in spite of how unworthy they may have been or seem to be to others. Delightful, determined, and dedicated; a "virtuous woman has left or presence, but not without leaving her mark permenantly engraved in our hearts, lives, and communities. "Goonight Gaynell," and rest well; "We'll see you in the morning.
With Love,

Dear English / Smith Family:
We were so sorry to hear of Gaynell's passing, but rejoice in the fact that she is home with the Lord. Although we cannot understand these things it is a blessing and comfort to know that she had made preparation to be with the Lord. Gaynell and her entire family were our neighbors during my childhood years. I have always had the utmost respect and love for the entire English family and count it a blessing that God allowed our lives to meet. Family please keep the faith and God's grace is sufficient to see you through until you meet your love one again. You will be in our thoughts and prayers.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Smith just this past June and I really did enjoy her! Her personality is so outgoing and we talked just like we had been knowing each other forever....I will always remember her beautiful smile...to her family, I extend my sympathy to you during this time. Death is not an easy pill to swallow, but it feels good to know that we have a Friend that has promised never to leave us nor forsake us and all we have to do is call on Him! All we have to do is just trust and believe that He will be right there for us, just when we need Him most!

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived
okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here
is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you
every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up
and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were
gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for
me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's
chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life
on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not
be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But
one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a
time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will
give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day
was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the
way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick
him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in
your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember
you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

I am home in Heaven, dear ones;
Oh, so happy and so bright!
There is perfect joy and beauty
In this everlasting light.
All the pain and suffering is over
Every restless tossing passed;
I am now at peace forever,
Safely home in Heaven at last.
Did you wonder I so calmly
Trod the valley of the shade?
Oh! but Jesus' love illumined
Every dark and fearful glade.
And he came Himself to meet me
In that way so hard to tread
And with Jesus' arm to lean on
Could I have one doubt or dread?
Then you must not grieve so sorely,
For I love you dearly still:
Try to look beyond earth's shadows,
Pray to trust our Father's will.
There is still work waiting for you,
So you must not idly stand;
Do it now, while life remaineth-
You shall rest in Jesus' land.
When that work is completed,
He will gently call you home;
Oh, the rapture of that meeting,
Oh, the joy to see you come!

To the family and friends of Mrs. Gaynell English Smith:
In our times of loss, we can sometimes find ourselves overwhelmed with feelings of confusion and sorrow. Hopelessness and despair may well up in our hearts, and it can seem as though comfort is beyond our reach, but as Jesus Christ tells us, “Blessed are they that mourn for they shall be comforted” (Matthew 5:4).
We would like to express to you our deepest sympathy as you cope with the passing of Mrs. Smith. Stay focused and look to God knowing that He has everything under control and in His precious care.
Our prayers and thoughts are with you. May God grant you comfort during your time of mourning. God Bless!!

James and Debbie I am sorry to hear about the loss of Gaynelle. I wish I could have met her. I know she was a wonderful person, Mike and Diane loved her very much. I know they want to be there with you, but under there cercumstances that's not possable.

Words can not express how saddened mother and I was to hear of the passing of Gaynelle.
Our hearts go out to you A.J., Angie, Eugene, her brothers, and all the other family members.
Gaynelle was loving, caring. She didn't stop until she brought me a pocket book from wear Angie was working. She did the same for my mom.
Lean on God family, lean on Him, he will see you through.
Much love to you all. She will be greatly missed.
