Dear Peter and Jacques -- I am saddened to learn of Sandy's death. She was a lovely person, an effective political activist, with a large soul. I loved working with her, and will always remember her with real affection. Megan and I pray this time of grief and loss and healing passes gently for you.

Jacques, Brooks, John and Peter,
I was inspired by Sandy as a babysitter to Brooks and John years ago. She was such a fun, thoughtful mom who treated me like family. She contributed so much to the community and will be sorely missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Jacques, Brooks, John and Peter, I can't tell you how sad I am to learn of Sandy's death. I miss her already and have been remembering so many wonderful experiences we shared over the years. My love and prayers to each of you. I will see you on Tuesday for the funeral.

I am so sorry to learn of Sandy's passing. She was a wonderful friend, and an extremely thoughtful and capable political ally. Sandy had an excellent intuition for meaningful public service, and pursued this with charm and charisma. Your loss is shared by the whole community. I will miss her.
