Victor Graham Obituary

Victor White Victor White Graham, 87, of Radford, passed away Friday, August 15, 2008. He was a retired and well known farmer from the Snowville area. He was a member of the Snowville Baptist Church and was instrumental in helping build the church in the 1950's. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Davis and Doshie Meredith Graham and three sisters, Sallie, Hazel and Virginia B. Graham and a brother, Herman Graham. Survivors include his devoted and loving wife of 66 years, Laura Dishon Graham, of Radford; a niece and nephew; and his cat "Baby". Victor "Grumps" will be greatly missed by his special caregivers, Lacy and Dorothy Dishon. Deep appreciation to Dr. Conatser and his staff, Carilion Hospice, Wheatland Hills and the C-wing Angels. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 18, 2008 at 3:30 p.m. at Mullins Funeral Home with the Rev. Neil Wood officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. The family will receive friends from 2:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. prior to the service on Monday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Snowville Rescue Squad, c/o Doris Correll, 3394 Greenhouse Road, Hiwassee, Va., 24347 or to the Joy Ranch A Home for the Children, P.O. I always enjoyed helping Victor in the hay fields when I was a teenager. Our community has lost a real character and a great person. Our sympathy goes to the family.
