RONNIE, I JUST FOUND OUT ABOUT LINDA LAST NIGHT. I AM SO SORRY. SHE WAS ONE OF THE SWEETEST PEOPLE ON THIS EARTH. I THINK SHE WAS AN ANGEL. IT'S BEEN A LONG TIME SINCE I HAD SEEN HER SINCE I LIVE IN WV NOW. WOULD OCCASIONALLY SEE HER WHEN I CAME IN TO SEE MY MOM AND I WOULD TAKE HER BY THE BANK TO TAKE OF SOME OF HER BUSINESS. LINDA WAS ALWAYS SO SWEET AND KIND AND HELPFUL TO MY MOM. MY DAUGHTER, VICKIE, AND HER FIRST HUSBAND, TIM LAWRENCE, USED TO RACE W/YOU GUYS AT THE PCTN DRAGWAY. I KNOW YOU DON'T REMEMBER ME BUT ME AND MY FIRST HUSBAND, VIC, USED TO LIVE BESIDE YOU AND LINDA AND KEVIN AT LYONS TR PK BACK IN 1967. MY PRAYERS AND THOUGHTS ARE W/YOU AND KEVIN. DEAR RONNIE,KEVIN AND MS. SLAUGHTER,
OUR FAMILY WANT'S TO LET YOU KNOW THAT WE ARE SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. LINDA WAS THE SWEETEST AND THE MOST CARING PERSON WE HAVE EVER MET. THE PAST 2 YEARS WE HAVE MISSED SEEING HER AT THE RACE TRACK EVERY WEEKEND. I KNOW IT HAS TO BE HARD FOR YOU TO FACE EACH DAY WITHOUT HER BY YOUR SIDE WITH HER SWEET SMILE ON HER FACE BUT YOU JUST HAVE TO KEEP TELLING YOURSELVES THAT ONE DAY YOU WILL MEET AGAIN AND WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY THAT WILL BE. LINDA WAS A BEAUTIFUL PERSON FROM THE INSIDE OUT. WE WILL MISS HER TREMENDOUSLY. YOU ARE IN OUR THOUGHTS AND ESPECIALLY OUR PRAYERS.

Ronnie, Kevin, Trudy and Family - May God give you strength and peace in the days ahead. Linda was a very special friend. She had so much patience and lots of knowledge to share as she helped me become a banker at FNB. She loved her family and racing. God has received a very special angel into his fold. Dear Ronnie, Kevin and Mrs. Slaughter,
An expression of sincere sympathy as Tom and I learned about the loss of your beloved wife, mother and daughter. May the many fond memories that you have of her along with the kindness of family and friends, words of condolence and God's sure promise of removing sickness, death, sorrow, pain and even resurrecting our loved ones help you cope now and in the days ahead.
I was so glad to have seen and talk with her briefly in June. My hopes were to have visited her in your home before her last stay in the hospital. Enjoyed working with her for many years at FNB. Her warm smile said it all!
Please accept our apology for not attending the visitation as we are out of town until the weekend.

Ronnie, Kevin, Trudy and Tommy, there are not words to express the sympathy I feel for all of you at this time. I can't remember when I didn't know Linda. She has always been the same. Her gentle kind soft spoken voice and big beautiful smile could always heal any problem that you had. She was always interested in everyone else's problems before her own. She always had that winning smile for everyone. Just remember we have not lost our loved ones when we know where to find them. She is with our Heavenly Father where all is love, peace and joy and there is no more pain or tears or heartaches. She is whole again and free of suffering. All is well. The only comfort we can find is through our Lord Jesus Christ. May He be with each of you in your time of grief. GOD BLESS!!!!

Dear Ronnie, We can't express the grief we are all feeling. Linda was such a wonderful person, she always asked about everyone, no matter how she was feeling or what was going on in her life.. I will always remember the day I was going to race my personal car at elk creek and I went to Linda to ask her advice and words of encouragement.. I will never forget her.. Linda was great in so many ways. She was really a TRUE friend. She will be missed so much and especially at the race track. She always had that big smile every single time you saw her. I am sorry to hear of Linda's passing. I always enjoyed doing business with her at First National Bank and the weekends at the race track whether it was Princeton or Elk Creek.
