Timothy Lee Thomas

On Monday, August 11, 2008, our brother, Timothy Lee Thomas, answered the Master's call for eternal peace and rest. "Pookie" or "Tim" as he was often called was born to Ms. Joanna C. Thomas, who predeceased him on December 14, 2005, whom he was very close with and his father, Rev. Eddie Lee Thomas most recently on April 23, 2008. "Pookie" was an employee of the city, but was known for handy man jobs where he came in contact with a lot of people, especially his elders. He always had to check on them. He was a wonderful guy who loved to walk and enjoy the scenery. He was well respected and loved by people he came in contact with. Timothy is survived by his siblings, Angela R. Napier; brothers, Michael and Cedric Thomas and their families; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, August 21, 2008, at Coyner Springs Cemetery with the Rev. Ulas Broady officiating.
