Dear Family of Mr. George Rogers

What a Man, What a Man, What a mighty GOOD Man! My remembrance of Mr. Rogers was as our mailman but also a family friend. He was always humorous but Mr. Rogers was a dapper dresser. Always so well put together.

I had the pleasure of volunteering at RAM for a short period of time and this is where I was aquainted with Mr. Rogers once again in my adult life. He had not changed one bit. Still Mr. Rogers - that smile - the jokeing around - but nothing but love for all.

May God Continue TO Bless All Of You!!

To The Family of George Rogers:

By George Rogers touching so many peoples lives in such a positive way, he left forever finger prints on hearts that will remain forever.

On the night the Angel came and took his hand, no one was ready for him to go; But Heaven rejoiced as he came into sight, for his soul was a brilliant diamond, shining so bright!

Because God needed another angel, HE enfolded George Rogers in HIS arms, took away all fear and pain and carried him HOME.

May God continue to surround you in HIS love and light as you move forward through your grief and sorrow.

I worked with George for 12 years at the Roanoke Marriott / Wyndham Hotel. He was always gracious and the epitome of hospitality. Never have a met a man who put so many others before himself. George's passing is sad for all who knew him, but now the angels are blessed and rejoicing to have him in Heaven. I could not ask for a better man -- now angel -- to go before me to prepare a place for me! God bless you all as you sorrow.

There are no words to express how much I am going to miss "Mr. Rogers". As a child growing up, Mr. Rogers was my mailman. At the end of the school year, my mother always knew when it was time for my report card to come because Mr. Rogers would tell her when to expect it. Not only was he our mailman, but he was a dear friend to my aunt whom she worked with on many catering events and spoke very highly of. As time went on, Mr. Rogers became my good friend and he always had a kind word for me. I will miss my mailman and friend. May the Lord bless the Rogers family and keep you in his ever loving peace as you go through your healing process.
