Claudine Akers Bowles

Claudine Akers Bowles, 74, of Elliston, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 21, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Bowles. Mrs. Bowles was a member of Reesedale Holiness Church. Surviving are her son, Ebbie Bowles, of Elliston; grandson, Dustin Slate; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Rachel Hickson, of Roanoke. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, August 24, 2008, at Reesedale Holiness Church by the Rev. George Jarels and the Rev. Keith Graves. Interment will follow in Reesedale Cemetery.
