I am so sorry for your loss. I haven't seen Claude for many years, but I have some very fond memories from my childhood that I still think of these days. He was a good man, who did things he didn't have to. To the family my deepest condolences.

Wednesday morning--We just got the message Tim had left on our phone, had been out of town from Saturday morning until today. Claude was always such a friend to us--someone we could always call on for his vast knowledge of everything mechanical, and he was always so willing to help. Jean, we are so sorry. Please know we are thinking of you during this time. We will certainly be in touch.

It is very sad to lose someone who has impacted so many lives, particularly a loving father and husband. I know your sadness must be great, but rest assured that God can bring you comfort. - 2 Corinthians 1:3,4

May your days from here forward be filled with happy memories of Claude. It is OK however to be sad and cry, even Jesus cried at the death of Lazarus, knowing full well he was about to resurrect him. (John 11:11-14) He showed us that a future event of dead loved ones being resurrected to earth would be open to all of us. How wonderful.

Please stand firm and keep your chins up. As each day goes by, your happy thoughts of Claude will replace the sadness and you will become stronger.

Sincerely,

Melanie Nelson
