I'll always smile when I think of my Uncle Matt. He was just what an uncle was supposed to be - handsome, athletic, full of fun, and good to his family - particularly to this nephew. It was painful to see his health decline. I am thankful for Nancy, his devoted and loving wife, who never once complained about devoting the last few years of her life to caring for him. Matt, I'm sorry that you and Nancy didn't have more time together in good health, but I know that duck hunting is good where you are now, and that you're doing just fine, and will wait patiently for her to join you.

I remember Dr. Summerlin from as far back as Federal Little League as well as David NHHS Class of 1973 and older brother Matthew. My condolences to the family. I always liked Dr. Summerlin.
