Jenny Lind Rymer Burroughs

Jenny Lind Rymer Burroughs, of Roanoke, also known by her birth name, Doris Marie Trail, passed on to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 2, 2008, at the age of 51. Born in North Carolina on August 6, 1957, to the late Leonard Jackson Deel and Jessie May Deel. She was also preceded in death by her ex-husband, Chester Rymer Jr.; and her brother, William Charles (Bill) Trail, both of North Carolina. Surviving are her daughter, Crystal Flora and husband, Michael, and their children, Sierra Flora, Aleshia and Cassie Oliver, and Michael Flora Jr.; her son, Wade Rymer and wife, LeAnn, of Hardy, and their children, Megan Rhodes Rymer, Nicholas Sheaff-Rymer, Abragail Sheaff-Rymer, and Destiny and Jonathan Cook. She is also survived by brother, Werner Von Deel; and a birth sister and brother, Mary Goff and Jeff Trail; and many other family members. A memorial service celebrating Jenny's life will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, September 6, 2008, from the Riverdale Baptist Church with the Rev. Sam Harvey officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Lotz Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
