I am very sorry for your loss, it is never any easy thing to deal with, but there is hope. The bible gives us comfort through the scriptures and holds out hope for all who mourn a loved one.
At 2 Corinthians 1:3, God is called the "God of comfort", an appropriate title for one who wants all to live and not die. How so? Notice what 1 Timothy 6:19 tells us, “He that exercises faith in the Son has everlasting life; ". All mankind has the oppurtunity to live on earth forever under perfect conditions. (Psalm 37:10,11,29) We also know this since he spent a great period of time forming the earth and its content specifically for the purpose of mankind to live here. Why would that change? His purpose hasn't.
Your loved one will have the chance once again to walk the earth and enjoy a special relationship with God during that time. It is my hope that these thoughts brought you personal comfort.
Sincerely,
