I was so sorry to hear of Maxine's passing. Delmer and Lavern always had a always had a close relationship and Delmer and I always enjoyed spending a night with them when coming home in the summertime. Jean and Kathy, we always thought that you both were very special and we know how proud Maxine was of the grandchildren and of the great-grandchildren. Please know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Some of my best childhood memories are those visiting Uncle Laverne and Aunt Maxine. What a wonderful person she was---always having uplifting things to say to everyone. I'll never forget that grand smile and homemade pickled beans. We've suffered a great loss, but heaven now has a powerful addition to It's choir.

Jean and Kathy ~ I am so glad we got to see Aunt Maxine and Uncle Lavern in July with our granddaughter, Madeline. Aunt Maxine never had a bad word about anyone and she was a true Christian. We are sorry we cannot be there tonight and tomorrow but you all will be in our thoughts and prayers. Uncle Lavern, we love you.

Love,
Dianne and Chris Lawson
