Louise Gilmer Mast

Louise Gilmer Mast, 88, died Thursday, September 4, 2008 at Brandon Oaks Nursing Center, Roanoke, Virginia. Mrs. Mast, a native of southern West Virginia, was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. G. Gilmer. She was a graduate of West Virginia University and pursued a career as a dietitian in hotel, department store and college food service. She was the widow of John P. Mast, of Lebanon, Virginia. Mrs. Mast was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers. Survivors include one sister, Marcella Boland, of Eureka, Missouri; and nine nieces and two nephews. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Lebanon, Virginia. A family memorial service will be held at a later date. Mrs. Mast will be buried in Russell Memorial Cemetery.
