Neal Long Obituary

Neal B. Long, 69, of Roanoke, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2008. He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace H. Long. Mr. Long was a veteran of the US Navy. He is survived by his wife, Darlene J. Long; daughter, Karla Long Setchel, Roanoke; son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Kim Long, of Williamsburg; his stepsons and daughters-in-law, Eric and Karen Carlsen, of Ohio, Duane and Kim Carlsen, of New York; stepdaughters and son-in-law, Kristen and Terry Rankins, Hardy, Torill Carlsen; and four grandchildren. At Neal's request there will be no services. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association or Red Hill Baptist Church. Arrangements by Oakey's Roanoke Chapel, 540-982-2100.
