Audrey Holt Meador Wimmer

Audrey Holt Meador Wimmer, of Roanoke, joined her husband and father of her children, Harold Rudolph Meador, in her heavenly home early Monday morning, September 8, 2008. Audrey, 85, was the oldest daughter born to Dewey A. Holt and Betsy Mullins Holt. She is survived by four daughters and their husbands, Wanda and Stuart Boblett, of Roanoke, Brenda and GL Quesenberry, of Woodlawn, Va., Kathryn and Allen LaVoie, of Ashland, Va., and Molly and Bob Pinner, of Warsaw, Va. She leaves five grandchildren; three step grandchildren; and 11 greatgrandchildren. Her husband, Cline Wimmer; four stepchildren; and seven step grandchildren also survive her. Audrey was preceded in death by five brothers and sisters and is survived by Stella and Bob Couch, of Grottoes, Va., Jenny Boitnott, of Boones Mill, Maurice and Jane Holt, of Callaway, Nancy Setliff, of Roanoke, and Sammy and Joice Holt, of Bent Mountain. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening, September 9, 2008, at Oakey's South Chapel from 5 to 8 p.m. with graveside service 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 10, 2008, with Don Wilson presiding at the family cemetery in Algoma, Rt 602, Callaway.
