Dorothy Lee Johnson

Mrs. Dorothy (Doris) Lee Johnson, of Roanoke, Va., passed away at Lewis-Gale Medical Center in Salem, Va. on Wednesday, September 10, 2008, at the age of 87. She was a lifetime Virginia resident and worked as a nurse. She lived the majority of her life in Roanoke and most recently at Richfield Memory Care Center in Salem. Dorothy was preceded in death by her late husband, Abednego Walter Johnson. She is survived by her three stepchildren; a brother-in-law, the Rev. Paul Johnson; and her loving friends at Richfield Memory Center and Family Services of Roanoke Valley. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, September 15, 2008, in the Hamlar-Curtis Chapel with the Rev. Paul Johnson officiating. The entombment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park.
