Christine and Family, Emmogene and Elouise and Family:
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Garmon was a lot like his dad, my Uncle Hanford, whom I dearly loved. I saw Garmon just a few weeks ago when my brother died. He and I talked about the old times-- when my dad would bring us all to the country. He also talked about staying with my mom and dad in the city when he was younger and we both had to laugh when he stated "your mom was always pregnant". (She had seven kids). May you find peace knowing so many people loved Garmon. May God Bless You

To Christine & Family,
I want you to know that you have my sympathy in the loss of Garmon. I remember your family from many years back and Christine and Garmon traveling on their tour bus to numerous churches and venues blessing all those that heard their sweet harmonies and spreading God's message in song. It's no telling how many lives they have touched with their singing. The angels in heaven are rejoicing to add one more beautiful voice.
God Bless all of you in your time of need.

Robin, I have such good memories of those times when I would come over to your house "back in the day". Your parents always made it a warm and comfortable place to visit.I am saddened that it is only at this time of your loss that I have been able to let you know that I still think fondly of those times. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Take care and God Bless.

To Garmon's family,

You don't know me but Garmon was a customer of mine at Food Lion in Blue Ridge. He would stop there on his way home from Bedford I believe when he was still working. He was just the nicest man and I always looked forward to talking with him when he came in. Working with the public can be challenging but people like Garmon could turn a bad day into a good one. I am so sorry to hear of his passing and my thoughts and prayers are with you.

To Garmon's Family,
I had the wonderful privilege of knowing this man in ways that are different from family and friends. He was a customer of my Company, Hickory Springs, for many years. In my thirty-six years of being in the furniture business, I never met a brighter, more articulate, sensitive and caring man. He epitomized the phrase "gentleman" in every way. I respected all I knew about him and he spoke often and joyfully about his family. Who can ever forget that radiant smile he had---a memory I am sure every family member will carry with them. He will be missed by those of us fortunate to have known and worked with him for many years.

Christine & Chris:
I just wanted to let you know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers. Garmon was one of the sweetest guys anyone could have ever met and known. He would call me from time to time at Sam Moore just to chat. Just hearing his voice would always brighten a bad day. I will miss him dearly. He truly was a good friend and inspiration.

Chris and Family,
I am so sorry to hear about Garmon. He was a very special person and mentor. When in times of crisis, he would always say that "I am on your side", and by that he meant that he was praying for me. Please know that I am now on "Your Side".

Christine, Kerry Clay, Elouise, Immogene, Chris and other family members: My heart is so heavy for all of you, and I send deepest sympathy. Garmon was always so dear to me. I have known him my entire life. He was a treasured childhood playmate. We played marbles, swapped comics, and played cowboys and Indians on makeshift "horses" made from broomsticks. We competed in school and just had wonderful fun times. I so admired his artistic talent, and respected all that he accomplished in design. It was a special treat when he married Clay's widow, making him even more a relative. We had been in touch recently by email, and that is a treasured memory. This is so hard to give him up. He was special. God bless and keep all of you. May he give you the peace that only he can give. I love you.

Christine and family, we are so sorry to hear of your loss. We love you all and will truly miss Garmon. He was a very special person to us. We know Jesus welcomed him with open arms and then ushered him on over to the "Heaven Tabernacle Choir". If you need anything we're only a phone call away. God bless you all.

Chris & Family,
Garmon was a wonderful man & friend. He could always make me smile. He taught me alot about "TOMATOES", especially with his "MATER SAMICHES" stories. He was very special to me and I will always cherish the memories of him forever. My sympathy goes out to the entire family. He will definitely be missed by everyone.

Christine, Kerry Clay, Robin and the entire family,
I was so sorry to hear about Garmon's passing. I know this is leaving such a large void in your hearts today. I grew up so close to the Conner family and felt like a member myself growing up with them. Some of my earliest memories are with Hanford, Almeda and the girls. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this sad time.
