If ever there was a person who had his eyes fixed to heaven, it was our beloved Bro. Akers. He was a small man in stature, but a mighty angel when he spoke of his Lord. As he always put it, he "loved to shout", which always blessed our hearts so much! It was so awesome to see that look in his eyes when he was dancing in the spirit. He always said, "You're going to miss me when I'm gone" and truly we at Walton PHC have missed him since his accident that put him down. Heaven has surely gained a saint. Please know that the entire family is in our thoughts and prayers, but you can rest assured that Bro. Akers is now in the presence of his Lord today shouting and dancing with his Lord! That was Bro. Akers' desire and goal and now he has achieved that. He fought a good fight, ran a good race, and now he's won that fight and race and is resting in the bosom of our saviour. God bless you all.
