I am very sorry to hear that Mike has passed away. I worked with him at Domino's a few years ago. Mike was always very friendly and laid back. He will be missed by everyone at Dominos.

Donna, I am so sorry to hear of Micke's passing.
I have very fond memories of him while working with him at Brandon Oaks for several year. I worked in the Country Store at the Deli bar and used to work in the Employee Dining room. Mike was so nice to everyone and a great worker. I always showed great love for you and was so proud of you. It was good to get to see you and him at the employee Christmas party's. He was a great guy.
So good to know that he believed in the Lord who died for us. Now that the Lord has taken him home we must live the life for Christ that someday we will meet again.
May God bless you and the family.

Donna,
We are both so sorry for your loss. The last time we talked everything was going well for you and Mike. I didn't know anything until I looked at a weeks' worth of newspapers, and I was just so shocked! I want you to know that you can call me anytime, day or night. I miss our talks and I will miss the sparkle that I always saw in Mikes eyes. The Lord has made him "whole" again and you will have your angel by your side forever. Please, take care of yourself too. We Love You!

Donna, We were shocked and saddened at hearing of your loss. We had just talked about coming over to Roanoke soon when we got your email. We can just imagine the Glory and Joy he must be feeling at seeing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and knowing all we've only just dreamed about. We felt like we had known him all our lives that afternoon we were blessed to spend with you and him a couple years ago. God Bless You and call us if you need us. Your Brother and Sister in Christ,

To Donna and Mr.& Mrs. Henderson.
Learned of this sad loss for all of you after I arrived at Phil and Holly's new home in FL. on Sept. 11.
As one entry related - Mike never had a bad word about anyone. He was a 'true man' who loved others more than himself. I know you will miss him but the good memories of an honorable man will always remain.
These tributes to him say it all.
Sincere sympathy and prayers,
Norma

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Henderson family during this time of sorrow, but rejoice that Mike is home with the Lord. Mike and our family go back to 1970 and Christian Endeavor at Westminster -- such a carefree and fun time. Even then, Mike's zest for life was evident! Our parents were also fond of Mike, as were so many. Although we have lost touch over the years, our memories still remain fresh --- as we say goodbye, for now.

Donna,
I do not know how to express the sympathy I feel for you. I am sorry I was unable to attend Mike's celebration of life but the memories of him will always live on through the love and joy he showed to others while on this earth. God has another angel in his hands now.

Uncle Mike was more than a relative to Cindy and I, he was a friend. We always admired the love that he and Donna shared. Mike and Donna adored each other and it always showed. We pray that God will place his divine hand on Aunt Donna's hurting heart. Through all the pain and struggles these past years, Mike never let it get him down. He knew God had a plan for him. We can rejoice that he is safely in God's hands and that every shot now is a hole-in-one.

Donna, I can't express the sorrow I feel for you in my heart. I was there when you got married, and through the fire, literally, Mike always had a positive attitude and managed to smile. He always made me feel special whenever we would talk. He was a wonderful man and I will miss him dearly. He always had you in his heart and will forever be your soulmate. We will all miss his smile and laughter. Shawn, Jen and kids

Hi Donna/Mr. & Mrs. Henderson.
Mike was one of my true hero's! I have never know anyone with a more loving/caring attitude. He was always willing to set and talk and always flashed that big grin! We had many beautiful shared memories with both Mike and Donna. He will be greatly missed, but always remembered! Our loss is God's gain!

I was shocked and terribly saddened to hear of Mike's passing. Knowing Mike for nearly 50 years and the times we had as teenagers at Westminster will always be dear to me. Although we had not got together in years I always knew Mike was there if I needed him because that was the type of man Mike was. I loved you and will miss you old friend.

Mike, or Hendu as I used to call him, will be always in my heart and mind. I knew Hendu as a hard-working man who put his love of his wife Donna first and foremost. It was my privilege to have known him and hopefully he is finally getting out to play that round he was always trying to.

Uncle Mike has had a rough go of it lately, but he never complained, nor have I ever heard him say anything negative about anything or anyone. He was always pleasant and easy to talk to about anything. At their wedding, I told Donna he seems to be a fine man. How right that statement was! We will all miss him, and wish Donna strength in these hard times. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Our dear Uncle Mike - your struggle is over and we know you are already hitting the links that has no sandtraps! We didn't get to attend the beginning of your life with our precious Donna, but it was an adventure in itself - fire and all! You've worked so hard all your life and always kept a smile and wonderful attitude through the many adversities. Love you always, Betsy

In the short time I knew him, I knew Mike was a special person. I knew Mike when he was in the hospital, both in January, and again recently. I saw him in some of the tougher days of his life. And I was impressed by what I saw there. He was always easy going and had a sense of humor. He always tried to see the bright side of things, even when he had to look hard. He revered his Lord and I am glad that God will be looking after him now. With my condolences for the loss to Donna and to the rest of the people who knew him, I also rejoice that Mike has ascended to a better place, to be with his maker, and will be there to meet us when it is our turn to be with him again.
