William Patrick Richardson

William Patrick (Bo) Richardson, 55, of Roanoke, Va., passed away at his home on Wednesday, September 10, 2008. He was born March 14, 1953, in Washington, D.C., the fourth son of the late John Walker and Patricia Healy Richardson. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Danny Walker and Betty Jo Flora Richardson. Bo was a beloved and devoted Dad, PawPaw, brother, uncle and great-uncle who lit up a room when he walked in with his great big smile. He is survived by his son, Bo Richardson and girlfriend, Jennifer, and grandchildren, Adam, Haley, Leigh and Grace, of Roanoke; two daughters, Heather and son-in-law, Michael Barton. and grandchildren, Carly, David, Dylan and Cassidy, all of Roanoke, Kelly Richardson and fiancé, Anthony, and grandson, Darien, of North Carolina; one sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Jessie Harmon, of Salem, Va., four brothers and three sisters-in-law, John and Donna Richardson, of Christiansburg, Jim and Rhonda Richardson, of Virginia Beach, Va., Butch and Ella Richardson, of Roanoke, and Jeff Richardson and fiancée, Terri, of Richmond, Va.; many nieces, nephews, greatnieces and great-nephews; and many close friends and his "Insider" family. A memorial service will be held noon on Saturday, September 20, 2008, at Oakey's South Chapel on Brambleton Avenue. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
