Evelyn W. Eubank

Evelyn W. Eubank, 84, of Buchanan, passed away on Friday, September 12, 2008. She was a longtime member of Trinity Episcopal Church and a longtime resident of Buchanan, where she owned and operated the Buchanan Beauty Shoppe. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Ralph Elbert Eubank; three brothers, Thomas Ware, John Ware Jr., and Jack E. Ware. She is survived by one son, Ronnie Horne, of Buchanan; two daughters and one son-in-law, Kay Hall, of Charlotte, N.C., Velma and George Spears, of Ashburn; one grandson, Brent Horne, of Roanoke; four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Shirley W. Rickman, Helen and Bob Riddle, Jean and William McClure, all of Buchanan, Patti and Roger Caron, of Massachusetts; two brothers and four sisters-in-law, Ray and Virginia Ware, of Buchanan, Richard and Paige Ware, of Fincastle, Jeanne Eubank and Jane Fultz and her husband, David, all of Buchanan; and several nieces, nephews, and many wonderful friends. A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Monday, September 15, 2008, at Trinity Episcopal Church with the Rev. Jonathan F. Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 2 to 3:30 p.m. prior to the funeral. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hunter Monk Fund, c/o Bank of Botetourt, P. O.
