Eva, Charles and Claude and family,
We so loved Aunt Jamie and have many wonderful memories of going to her house and playing in the little creek as a kid. I was so happy to be able to have my kids play in that same creek and have wonderful memories too-that included 'fried pies'. We are so sorry and know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers. Janice, Stephen and the McCoury Boys (james Crawford's daughter)

"Momaw Jamie" became my Grandmother in Dec. 1990 when I married her grandson Danny. From the very first time I met her, she was as nice to me as she could be. She was always sweet and loving, and willing to share anything she had. When you went to Momaw's house there was always something good cooked to eat and she would usually be working on a beatiful new quilt to give someone. Most of the time the quilts she made were for new babies or one of her many grandchildren. Momaw Jamie had so many interesting stories to tell. Some funny and some tragic, but I loved to hear her tell them, even if I had heard them before. These are just a few of my memories of Momaw Jamie. I'm blessed to have known her.
