Geneva Thompson Walker, 78, of Floyd, Va., passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis R. Thompson Sr. She is survived by her sons and daughter-inlaw, C. Randolph Jr. and Jackie, Thompson, of North Carolina, and Paul Wesley Thompson, of Floyd; daughter and son-in-law, Mary T. and Eddie Goss, of Richmond; sisters, Frankie Moore, of Roanoke, and Opal Sutphin, of Radford; grandchildren, Trisha and Chris Heidt, Amy Goss, Curtis Goss, Rachel Thompson and Robin Thompson; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, September 19, 2008, at Maberry Funeral Home with the Rev. Donna Sharp officiating. Interment to follow in the Thompson Cemetery.
