For the last entry for our beautiful son Mason Daniel Holley,
I would like to thank everyone for their support in our time of need. Without it, life would be a whole lot harder to deal with..... although it still may not be easy to understand or cope with. Krista and I, without this situation would have still have dealt with a more difficult life than most.... but to know that we are loved by and cared about by so many helps us to deal with this very difficult time in our life. It is sad to think that sometimes, tragedy can bring so many of us to a common ground. Thanks to everyone who has supported us; whether by cards, donations, verbal/moral support, visitations, or by entry into our guest book for our precious Mason. If there is anyone that understands or feels the pain or grief that we are feeling..... feel free to contact us. We would like/love to talk with someone with similar circumstances that we could relate with. It is very rare that this type of rare occurrence happens, but it happens more frequently than anyone could think. May no one that we know, or do not know, have to deal with this. Thanks to all: God(although it may be difficult to thank right now), family, friends, and to all of those that have supported us; even those that we may not have even met or know of. We hope that all of your kindness and support be rewarded; that your lives will be touched, affected, and blessed by knowing that it could happen to any of us: man, woman, husband, wife, or child. Rest in peace our loving and beautiful son Mason because your mother and father will be coming to visit you when the lord shall bless us with the occurrence. It is so hard to say goodbye, but you know that we love you and will never forget you! Lord, take care of our precious infant.

My dear precious son,
There is no passage that can begin to express the way I feel and will always feel about you. You came into my life and gave me the greatest moment of my life, and sadly, now the worst moment of my life that I will ever experience. There is nothing in life that will be more devastating or eye-opening to me than the passing of you. I will never forget the moments from the first time that I laid eyes on you to the moment where you could not lay eyes on me. Son, I love you and will never forget the smiles, cries, giggles, babbles, bounces, and any other expression that you gave me the blessing to experience. Your papas Tony and Lonnie will take care of you now. Mason forgive me for being short in writing, but you know that I have been and will always be talking to you. I love you son and I'm sorry there was nothing that I could do to put myself in your place or to prevent this from happening.

Our hearts are breaking for you and family! Having our five month old twins and the thought of losing one of them is just more than we can even bear to think about. Dear Mason,
What do I say to one of mine and daddy's miracles that was taken away so suddenly. It just seems so simple to quit life all together and hide away in my own self pity. But, even you as a 4 month old know better than that because I have so many other people hear on earth that need me too. I never will understand how the very person that gave you to me can simply just take you away from me in a short period of time. My faith is judged yes I will say but I know if there is a life after death you and the lord will restore my faith and make me semi whole again. Im confused, hurt, angry, but I think mostly sorry. Reason being have I known then what I know now I would have not got so upset when you kept me up at night I would have cherished every moment of it. I would have done alot of things that now I will never get to apologize or share with you. I feel its all my fault but everyone keeps telling me thats normal. I have so many questions and absolutely no answers and truly right now there is no comfort in knowing others go throught this with me because noone should have to dare carry such a burdon. I have so many this to say to you and I dont know if you will read this or if you stay at 4 months old and will never get to understand it but know this I LOVE YOU! and I will try to keep my head up and know it is all for a reason but just give me time. It will take me some time to do so. Thank you so much for everything and since I cant say goodbye to you I will just end with I LOVE YOU mommas sweet baby Mason Daniel Holley.
p.s. take care of papa tony for me cause his passing is still a pain to me too and tell him i love him and miss him too!!!

Things like this happen all the time, but you never really are prepared for it to happen to you. I feel very blessed to have known Mason, for the time I did get to see him, play with him, hold him, and kiss on him. Mason’s First Words as an Angel
“Thank You Mommy and Daddy,” he would say. He would want you to know that he loved being a part of your lives even though so brief. He remembers your kisses, your touch and your love for him. He’ll never forget mommy’s first smile or the courage daddy had to change his diaper for the first time. He’s all around you, touching your thoughts, hugging your memories, and holding onto your souls with his little hands until the day that you will meet again. He smiles with you and is happy for your strength that allows him to fly. For all the powerful love, for remembering him, for holding him and missing him when he became your angel. He knows he is your combined, pure love and he is your hope. He’s the light shining down from above, he’s the breeze blowing through your hair, he’s the hope in your heart, and he’s the baby angel that throws the first snowflake upon your face. Just know that the smiles on your faces help him get through his day, too, and he knows you love him, knows you miss him, and wants you to know that he’s safe and watching over you both as your angel from above.
