David Tickle Obituary

David Lee Tickle Sr., of Radford, Va., passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2008. Surviving are his mother, Frances Tickle; a brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Sharon Tickle; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Edna and Larry Prescott and Tina and Russell Spiker; and three grandchildren, Danny, Dave and Summer. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. on Monday, September 29, 2008, at DeVilbiss Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday at the DeVilbiss Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. T. Michael Bond officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by DeVilbiss Funeral Home, Radford, Va.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Frances,I am so sorry for your recent loss.I will keep you in my prayers.David will be missed so much he was a kind,honest,sweet man full of love.I think it was such a blessing to have known him,anybody that knew him loved him.He had a very big heart. Love and Prayers.
