Mary Pryor Boothe

Mary Pryor Quarles Boothe, 67, of Roanoke, Va., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 24, 2008. She was the daughter of the late Ira Wesley Quarles and Donna Bradley Quarles. She was also the widow of William G. Parsley Sr. and was predeceased by two sons, Robert Ray Parsley and infant, Donnie Parsley. Mary was a member of The Salvation Army and enjoyed fellowship with The Seniors With Spirit Group. Survivors include two sons, Bill Parsley Jr. and wife, Cindy, and Johnny Parsley; two brothers, Samuel H. Quarles and wife, Brenda, and Larry E. Quarles and wife, Peggy; two sisters, Ellen and Mike Wright and Margaret and Terry Patterson, all of Roanoke; grandchildren, Ben, Lani and Blake Parsley; and stepgrandchildren, Chad States, Chase Bell and Drew Grubb. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, September 27, 2008, from the graveside at Jeters Chapel Cemetery with Captain Richard White officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lotz Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel.
