Ruth Agee Obituary

Ruth Marie Agee, 79, of New River, Va., near Radford went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 27, 2008, at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center. She was born on February 7, 1929, at White Gate, Va., the daughter of the late Margaret Josephine Vest and Glenwood Agee Sr. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Glenwood Agee Jr.; and a sister, Lois Agee Rash. She was retired from Inland Motors and was a member of Morgan's Chapel United Methodist Church. She is survived by a son, Michael (Mike) Agee, of Radford; two sisters, Betty A. Warf, of Radford, and Jean A. (Donald) Long, of Charlotte, N.C.; three nieces, Ann Phipps, of Salem, Loretta Webb, of Dublin, and Carol Agee, of New River; and two nephews, Steve Long, of Charlotte, N.C., and Jeffrey (Jeff) Warf, of Snowville. A private graveside service will be held at Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. Arrangements by A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home, White Gate, Va.
