Aunt Genevieve, I miss you Oh so very much. I miss our phone conversations that always ended with a smile. You always called me your angel. I know you called others that also, but I hope you knew you were the real "Angel" in all our lives.
Love and Forever in my heart.

I will miss Gramma Wierzbic. She always had a smile and a kind word. I think it was the twinkle in her eye and that mischievous grin that I will miss the most, and the hugs of course. She always made me feel like I was part of the family.

Ted, Mike, Ken & Janice,
I was saddened to hear of your mom's passing, but she will not be forgotten. I have great memories of Gen. There were happy times, silly times, and sad times, yet I remember she smiled and laughed through them all. She always had a smile even when one of you had done something to make her angry. I remember her sweetly saying your name with a smile on her face and her teeth grit and then you really knew you were in trouble. "Mother's angry" was the phrase you used. Gen always kind, generous, and thoughtful. She never failed to tell me how gorgeous I looked eventhough I knew better. It was always such a joy to see her. Her friendship with my mom was irreplaceable. She help Mom get though many difficult moments. Gen was a true friend. I know you will miss her deeply, but know that many others hold your mom in their hearts and that the world is a better place because she placed her mark on it.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to all of Genevieve's family (especially Ted, Mike, Ken & Janice), who I have known for most of my life.
Gen always made me feel at home in her house. She had a quick wit and her laugh was infectious. I will always remember her laugh. I'll remember Gen's parties, picnics, horseshoe games, pinochle games, Password games, watching our parents play charades, the "Pass the Ace" card games, just to name a few that took place at the house on Brewster St., at our house on Steinfeldt, at the cottage in Colden and at the cottage in Wyoming Hills. And who could forget when Gen threw the sombrero at Ted while singing in Colden while us kids hid on the bunk beds! And my other favorite is the recipe she gave my Mom for Christmas cookies, which made a bushel full of cookies! Gen never made just a dozen cookies!!! She had a real zest for life and loved to have fun.
Gen was always kind to me and never missed calling me "honey." She was one of the first of my parents' friends that I addressed by their first name. And it was through her that I forged my life long friendships with her children.
Genevieve touched my life in a very special way. Although I am saddened to see her leave this earth, I am happy to have had the opportunity to have known her and to have all these wonderful memories of this special lady. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

We are so grateful for the messages of condolence and loving thoughts from our family and friends.
Mom was the touchstone of our family. She brought us together whenever possible and kept us together even when we lived far apart. She was my sounding board for whatever was happening in my life. Whether times were good or difficult, I knew there was one place I could go to find unconditional love and support. Mom loved my friends and hated my detractors whether or not she had ever met them.
The memories of my mother are numerous but what stands out above all of the wonderful characteristics she had is her generosity. She was the most giving and thoughtful person I have ever known. She acknowledged every holiday or occasion either with her presence, or a thoughtful card, or a generous gift.
I am so glad that I was able to spend her last birthday with her. She amazed me as we sat on her back deck doing crossword puzzles together. She was never satisfied until the puzzle was finished and, because of her command of the language there were very few puzzles that she couldn't complete.
She will be missed but her life will continue through those of us whose lives she has touched. She will never be forgotten and will always be loved.

The loss of your Mom is deeply felt by me. I will never forget all the wonderful times at your house where she always would throw open the door and welcome me. I know I was a pest every day but she never made me feel like one. Her greatest gifts were that she loved to socialize and the more the merrier. I can only remember fun and laughter while she gathered us in and made us all feel like we were her children too. I know she is already planning all the parties in heaven and I can picture her laughing and having a great time sharing her gifts there. My prayers and love are with you all, Jean
