Brent,
I just want to say that there is not one day that has gone by that me and Chowsky haven't thought of you. You impacted our lives so much and it's so hard knowing you won't be coming over to our house anymore. We miss you more than words can say but we thank God each and every day for allowing us to have such a marvelous person in our lives...even if it was entirely too short!! We love you Brent and I know that you have Mikey and everyone else in Heaven laughing!! We know we WILL see you again. Until then, we love you and miss you so much! Dear Gerald Family,
Our sincere sympathy to each of you in the loss of your dear loved one. May God wrap his loving arms around each one of you and heal your broken hearts. We will never understand why such things happen. Proverbs 3:5 tells us to "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding". Brent is safe in the arms of Jesus now and you will see him again one day. We had the pleasure of knowing Brent for many years and we loved him, just as we love your dear family. Our hearts are so sad for you and your family. Your whole family has had so much sadness. I know God will get you through these difficult times. It was a year on 10/3 that Roger lost Robert to a motorcycle accident and when we heard this, it just brings back so many memories...

I knew Brent from working at Danaher. I left there 3 years ago but had just recentley seen him in Wades while I was shopping one afternoon. He came up and spoke to me and still had that same smile and friendly face I remember...he was always smiling.

So sorry to hear about Brent. Only a couple weeks ago at Biker Sunday in Dublin I saw that big smile he always had, not knowing that in a couple weeks he would be in the arms of his heavenly father. Brent was a good man and that comes from good parents. May the love of God comfort you in the upcoming days and may Brent smile always be a memory to those who knew him. I know I will miss seeing him at bike events...but I know heavens a little brighter now with him there.

You were a best friend to my husband and he misses you so much. He is lost without you! You were my brother by choice and I truly know how it feels to lose a sibling now that I've lost you. Dear Kathryn,
I was devastated to learn of this terrible tragedy. My heart is breaking for all of you. I wanted to let you know how much I loved Brent and how kind he was to me and my kids when I lived in Floyd. After Cecil left and I lived up on the mountain by myself, he showed me much kindness. When we would get a big snow he would ride the 4-wheeler up to my house and ask me if we were okay and if we needed anything. One time I was having car trouble and needed a jump start and he came to my rescue and helped me get my car started. And he did all of those things with that sweet "boyish" grin on his face that I will never forget.
After I moved away I hadn't seen him for a while but ran into him at the New River Valley Fair last year and he gave me a big hug and we "caught up" a little. He was a wonderful young man of whom you can be proud.
I pray that your faith in God and the love of your family and friends sustain you during this most difficult time.
