What can I say? Buddy was one heck of a man...I've had so many great times at Buddy's..From playing horseshoes on the weekends, watching the races on Sunday or just hanging out there talking ...he was the same no matter where you saw him...My husband tells the story of the first time he met Buddy...It was 11 years ago outside the Bullseye in Oakvale....Buddy walks up to them in the parking lot and tells them he's running for Governor of North Carolina!!! For them to remember Buddy E. Law! So, you can only imagine when I went to introduce them a few years later....My husband never forgot that... And that's one thing we shall all remember...that smile, laugh and that bigger than life personality!! Im thankful for being able to call him my friend....

After moving to NC, I have not seen Buddy for several years, however that will never erase the memories we all shared as children, living in the Mitchell Addition. We had so many fun times -- days and days of hiking in the woods and "playing outside" -- something that many children today never experience. I am thankful that the Lord allowed us to share those times -- build friendships -- make memories. Ervil, Barbara and family -- you will forever be a part of me -- and though miles may separate us -- I will always love and hold dear the memories of Buddy and your family. We pray that the Lord will surround you, hold you close and assure you of His loving presence. Love, Dickie and Cathy Meadows

Buddy the "LAW". Words really can't explain the feelings and thoughts we have right now. You were not just our friend, our neighbor and our co-worker you were the one we went too to get a different opinion from. Whether it be what we wanted to hear or not it was always an interesting opinion. We will always remember and miss you forever.
