Sidney Bivens Griffin

Sidney Griffin Obituary

Sidney Bivens Griffin, 85, of Aiken, S.C., formerly of Roanoke, Va., died Monday, October 6, 2008. Sidney is survived by his brother, Edwin N. Griffin and wife, Ruth; four nephews and two nieces; and sister-in-law, Dorothy S. Griffin. He was a member of Villa Heights Baptist Church and worked at Harris Hardwood Flooring Company. Graveside services at Sherwood Memorial Park 11:30 a.m. Saturday, October 11, 2008, with the Rev. Jake Huffman officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, October 10, 2008 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel, 540-982-2100.
