To the Norfleet Family,I was blessed to meet Willard about 20 years ago in Landsdowne Apartments...we were next door neighbors for several years...he adored my little girl, Maria, who is now 24 yrs.old...she remembers to this day that he taught her the song "Down in the meadow in a little bitty Pool". He had such a impact on my daughter and I. He was truly a blessing. After he moved away,I got saved and started living for Jesus and have been doing just that every since...I know he prayed that I would get saved one day. God answered his prayers and I thank him for caring enough about me to want me to be saved. I know he is in Heaven now-rooting us all on...May God give each of his family members and friends His peace and comfort at this time. God bless you all! Love In Christ...Stacey (Tate) Williams

I had the honor of meeting Mr. Norfleet in the late seventies when I worked for the Roanoke Housing Authority. When I would ask how he was doing he always said something like things were always getting better. He had such a positive attitude and was a pleasure to talk with. His loving wife always sent us a cake to the office the first of each month. I remember him with much happiness.

Willard was a joy to us while Pastoring at Penn Forest Wesleyan. I still have some of those surprise ties he left on my desk on any given Sunday and others I've given away. I loved his disposition and honest heart. I have quoted his view on gossip often from the pulpit. He would say, "Now, don't tell me something you don't want someone else to know because I might just slip and let it out and I wouldn't want to offend you." I also remember the first Birthday party we threw for Handsome Willard while there. He was so surprised. I will see you in heaven Willard so be ready to greet us there!
Love and Prayers to the family,
