Hilda Maxine Spangler, 59, of Buena Vista, died Saturday, October 11, 2008, at her home. Born June 12, 1949, in Buena Vista, Va., she was the daughter of Evelyn D. Taylor, of Buena Vista, and the late Charles D. Taylor Sr. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her children, Melissa D. Spangler, of Buena Vista, and Crystal T. Clark and husband, Calvin, of Buena Vista; a grandson, Michael Parker; brothers and sisters, Charles D. Taylor Jr. and wife, Betty, of Richmond, Va., Kenneth R. Taylor, Janice Walter and husband, Don, Ricky Taylor and wife, Kay, Thomas D. Taylor, all of Buena Vista; and life time friend, Tommy Spangler. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 14, 2008, at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Dean Staton officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Mausoleum.
