Juanita Crabtree Tiller

Juanita Crabtree Tiller, 89, of Radford, Va., passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2008. She was born September 14, 1919, daughter of the late Grover C. and Elizabeth Compton Crabtree. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Leslie A. Tiller; brothers, Wayne, Elkanah and George Crabtree; and sisters, Mabel Combs, Gaynelle Cook and Ellena Crabtree. Juanita was raised in Russell County, Va., a member of Crabtree Chapel Church. She and her husband lived in Dayton, Ohio, for more than 40 years. They were charter members of Huber Heights First Baptist Church where they served in many capacities. They later moved back to Radford, Va., after retirement. They became members of Fairlawn Baptist Church until her husband died and she moved near Williamsburg to be close to her children. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Wilhelm Bolles; son and daughter-in-law, David and Donna Tiller; and three grandchildren, Amber, Alyssa and Brandon. She is also survived by her sister, Wilma C. Snuffer; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at The Horne Funeral Home on Thursday, October 16, 2008, from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held 1 p.m. on Friday, October 17, 2008, in The Horne Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev.
