Darrell Golliher Obituary

Darrell Wayne Golliher, 77, of Pulaski, Va., died early Tuesday morning, October 14, 2008, in the Pulaski Community Hospital. He was born in Pulaski on November 17, 1930, and was the son of the late Orear Granville Golliher and Lena Pulliam Golliher. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Daffron East Golliher. He was a veteran having served in the United States Army in Korea. He was a retired employee of RAAP as a Supervisor of Stores. Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Patricia Golliher, of Pulaski; sister, Elaine Tester, of Forrest, Va.; two grandchildren; and special friend, Robert Rupe. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. on Friday, October 17, 2008, from Stevens Funeral Chapel with Dr. C.R. Conner and the Rev. Howard Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin with Pulaski VFW Post #1184 conducting the Military Graveside Rites. Visiting will be held on Thursday evening, October 16, 2008, from the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski, Va.
