Mark,
Susan and I are celebrating with you and your family, in the home-going of your dad. He wouldn't trade places for anything. Our prayers are with you and your family as you adjust to the absence of your dad. We love you, Mark.

Mark,
Can't help but recall the wonderful stories you told about your Dad when we traveled to Richmond together over ten years ago. I felt then as I do now that you were so blessed to have such wonderful parents. Ruth Ann and I share the Cress family grief this very hour as you celebrate the life and legacy of your parents.

To my dear cousins,
At this time I cannot put into words what I would like to say about family and what it means to me to have been brought up and left with the memories that I have and included in that are all the memories of all of you and your Mom and Dad coming to my house as a kid. Your Dad always had or took the time to listen to things that I had to say and comment on them, no matter how trivial they may have seemed to him at the time.We will all miss him, but we are also peaceful in the knowledge to know that he is in the better place reuniting with all our family that have been waiting for his arrival.I also look forward to joining them in this better place. Hazel and I are praying for you during this difficult time in your life.

Cousins, as my sister wrote, your weekend visits were always special to us. My early memory of Uncle John was watching his mustache as he drank coffee at breakfast. Sometimes it would leave a dark color on the rim of the cup. For the longest time I didn't know what caused that. I remember at these visits my grandfather and his children enjoyed being together.
What a reunion they are having, being together again-can't wait till its our turn. Praying for you during this time.

Dear Mark and entire Cress family, Please accept our most sincere condolences at your dad's passing, but we share even more joy because of his destination. We know he was greeted by his loved ones and his Savior, and we pray that would be your comfort and peace in the midst of this time of grieving. Much love to you all....

Mark and family,
As I read your dad's obituary, I was touched by his relationships. What a great legacy he enjoyed as patriarch of the Cress family; a legacy than transcends life this side of eternity and continues on into the other! God bless you all.

Dear Cousins,
I have fond memories of your Dad and you all coming to our home for visits. I know that your Dad enjoyed my mama's cooking. I will never forget what he told me one day he asked "you know what happens when you bend your elbow at the table don't you? " His answer"Your mouth flies open" He had a sense of humor. My prayers and thoughts are with you all now and always. It is hard to loose one parent, but like us you also lost two very close together. But as we all know they are all together now and in a very happy and peaceful place. I can hardly wait to join them. God's blessings to you.
Love,
Carolyn and family

Dear Vounda,
I want to express my condelences to you and the family.
I appreciated the friendship, both personal and professional I had with your Mon and Dad for so many years. The two were rare acquantences that come into your life and give life to others, and that what they did. They were very special people. He and Ann are rejoicing together once again.
I pray God's blessing on your family.

My blessings and prayers to you and your extended family. This obit tells the story of a great man. Your dad is a strong example of a true American. And left a legacy beyond measure.
You have been a great example to me of a son who honors his parents. Thanks.
