Leatha Miller Obituary

Leatha Ann Miller, 84, of Wytheville, Va., passed away Thursday, October 16, 2008. She was born July 8, 1924, in Richmond, Va., daughter of the late John Mills and Annie Lee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eberett Lee Miller. Leatha was a United States Army Veteran of World War II. She is survived by one son, Eric Mario Millerm of Wytheville, Va.; special caregiver, Sidney Black Jr., of Wytheville, Va.; sister-in-law, Frances Lee, of Sugar Grove, Va.; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 19, 2008, at 3 p.m. at the Barnett Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. American Legion Post #9 will conduct graveside Military Rites. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Barnett Funeral Home, Wytheville, Va., is in charge of arrangements.
