I will miss Darrell not only as a co-worker but as a friend. He had a heart of Gold. The Lord has gained a soldier and we here on earth has certainly gained an angel.

Like many of Darrells' co-workers I had the honor of knowing his kind nature for many years at Corning. He will truly be missed by everyone here. God never closes one door without opening another, this time HE opened the gates wide. God be with your family.

Darrell was a very wonderful person to work with. You could not ask for a better individual, he never got mad, never raised his voice. He was so down to earth and loved his family very much. He will truly be missed. There will never be another Darrell Pickerel. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
