Andrew David Morris

Andrew David (Andy) Morris, 28, of Keezletown, died Monday, October 20, 2008, in Radford, Va. Andy was born in Harrisonburg, Va., on March 18, 1980, and was the son of Melvin and Letitia Morris. He was a graduate from Broadway High School in 1998. He went on to Radford University where he graduated with a degree in Biology in 2006. In high school he was All District, All Regional and All State in Virginia High School Baseball. He worked for Nanochemonics Holdings LLC in Pulaski, Va., and was a member of the Bethel Church of the Brethren in Keezletown. He loved fishing, playing guitar, and hunting with his family and friends. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Matt R. Morris and wife, Cheryl, of Mt. Solon, and Zach A. Morris, of Keezletown; grandparents, Charles and Aggie Raines, of Keezletown; and grandmother, Katie Falconer, of Lynchburg; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, October 24, 2008, at the Kyger Funeral Home in Harrisonburg, with Pastor William Staton officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Church of the Brethren Cemetery north of Keezletown. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday evening, October 23, 2008, at Kyger Funeral Home in Harrisonburg.
