Dear Jeanine,
Please know that my family here in Texas is sending comforting thoughts your way. We are so sorry to hear about Andrew.
Here is a poem someone gave me when my mother, Marguerite, died. I hope you will share it with your family.
Love, Paula, John, Erin and Sean
Do Not Cry
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there
I do not sleep
I am a thousand winds that blow
I am the diamond glints on snow
I am the sunlight on ripened grain
I am the gentle autumn's rain
I am the mist on the meadow on a fall morning
The purple blossoms of an African violet on a sunny windowsill
Butterflies fluttering in a gentle breeze
Cloud formations in a bright blue sky
And fireflies that sparkle on a summer night
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
of birds in circling flight
I am the soft star that shines at night
Do not stand at my grave and cry
I am not there
I did not die

Mrs. Cooper, Monique, Mack and Pete,
I have no words to express or words that would comfort in this situation, but wanted to say that I love you all and I am so thankful to have been a friend of Andrew's and your whole family. I have reminisced of our times together and will always cherish them. You all pretty much adopted me and I am truly grateful to each one of you in many ways. I loved Andrew dearly and will never forget many times and years of my life with him. Andrew professed his faith in Jesus Christ our Lord the last time I saw him, so I feel confident in his salvation and know that he is okay. Prayers, grace and peace to you all.
In Christ,
Randy

Dear Mrs Cooper, Monique,Mackie Jr and Petey,
Words seem so inadequate to express my heartfelt sorrow for you all and the loss of Andy.
When I think about Andy, one event comes to the front above all other memories and that is of him, as a little boy, running through the house just being wild and laughing the entire time. ( I think he was just trying to torture Monique and I!!)
My thoughts are with you all during this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Gerry Sue

Dear Cooper family,
Please allow me to say I am so sorry for the loss of Andy. He was a good man with a heart as big as they come. We went all thru school together and even had sleepovers as children at my house. Andy went with us on vacation's together and we were just really good friends...I hope that during this trying time you may find some peace. I will always have fond memories of Andy.
