Dear Aunt Emilie, Cathy, John and family,
We are saddened to hear of Uncle Bennett's passing. He is remembered fondly by me, Sandy, and our three boys. We still talk about our sweet visit with you and Uncle Bennett in Roanoke and can't believe it's been nearly 20 years ago. Know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time. May God's peace blanket you as you share special memories about a very special man.
Love, David & Sandy

Emilie and family, I was very sorry to read of John's passing. I am Wilmer and Hilda Clark's daughter and I remember all of you very well. You were all so kind to us when Mama and Daddy were sick. Your friendship meant a lot to our family. I wanted to let you know that you are all in my prayers.

Though we have never met Mr. Purdy, through our friendship with John Purdy Jr., we know he was a great father and man of deep passion for his family and friends. May he rest in peace in Heaven. Our thoughts are with his family.

Mr. Purdy was an elder in my church growing up and was such a shining example of a true Christian family man. He loved his darling wife and family so much and that was evident. I am so sorry for your loss, my thoughts and prayers go out to your family.
