Robert Bain Obituary

Robert Clayton (Bob) Bain, 73, of Radford, Va., passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2008. He was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church and retired from Hercules. Survivors include his wife, Annabelle Farmer Bain, of Radford; a son and daughter-in-law, Allen G. and Tammy Bain, of Dublin; a daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Barry Armentrout, of Natural Bridge; two brothers and sister-in-law, Larry and Joyce Bain, and Michael Bain, all of Radford; a sister and brother-in-law, Wanda and Gerald Phillips, of Radford; brother-in-law and his wife, Andy and Shelby Farmer; sister-in-law, Louise McCoy; and several nieces, nephews and special friends. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Friday, October 31, 2008, at the Gethsemane Baptist Church in Radford with Pastor Jerry Gibson and the Rev. Glennard Quesenberry officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunrise Burial Park in Radford. The family will receive friends Thursday evening, October 30, 2008, from 6 until 8 p.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Radford-Fairlawn Daily Bread, 503 Norwood Street, Radford, Va. 24141 or your favorite charity. Annabelle and Family-I am so sorry to hear about Bob passing. We know Bob is in good hands but what a loss for the rest of us! Annabelle we have so many good memories working in various ministries at church and of course there was never a ministry closer to my heart than the Sweet Inspirations!
